Victoria Sulski


Artist's Bio

Victoria Sulski received her Master of Fine Arts degree from California State University, Long Beach, in 1983.

 

She has taught various drawing and painting courses for the past seventeen years at places like Cabrillo College, Monterey Peninsula College, College of San Mateo, and Soledad Prison.

 

Passionate about her work, Victoria worked primarily in pastels, but was also proficient in oils. Stone carving provided an additional outlet for Victoria's desire to create dynamic forms.

 

Her work has been exhibited locally and nationally. She was the recipient of awards such as the Art of California Bronze award for painting. Victoria's commissioned portraits have been well-received.

 

Victoria died on December 16, 2008.
